Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant of 2012's Fierce Five team as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold both on the floor for the team and in individual competitions. Bronze was taken by her balance bar. She was the only American to be awarded the most medals at an Olympics. The 2016 Olympics saw her win the gold medal in the team competition, which earned Gabby and Gabby the honor as the first Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. The silver medals she won came from the individual floor and all-around event. In the three years between the two Olympics the athlete took a break. Additionally, she was a member two world championship gold winning teams. She learned gymnastics from the age two, and her favorite activity is Floor Exercise. Aly has joined her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand her line of leotards and socks in the very near future. Fierce is a book that she plans to release later in the year.
